  1. This is the 400 block of North Marshall (not Spruce) Street.

  2. The photographer was standing in front of the W-S Journal-Sentinel building. The photo predates the Union Bus Depot (Greyhound station) which was constructed (where the trees stood) in 1942. The Cherry-Marshall Parking Deck replaced the depot in 1974.

  3. Hey Possum, you’re right. The building on the right side of the picture is the education building of First Presbyterian Church and the building on the left is now Jeffrey Adams restaurant. Good catch.
