Mother's Day Poster Child

Mother’s Day is one of the most important days of the year for North Carolina Baptist Hospital. It is a day where offerings are accepted to help support the care of needy recipients in the community. The very first Mother’s Day offering was distributed in 1924. This poster child, who is well at the time of this photograph, was a recipient of such funds in 1969 because of serious health issues and injuries.
