Thornie Gay, a volunteer whose association with the hospital goes back to 1965, has been applying talent, paint and patience to the walls at North Carolina Baptist Hospital for over 150 hours. The results were arrays of flowers, butterflies, guitar playing frogs, birds, and rabbits.
