Honorable Mr. Odus M. Mull

Mr. Mull was a highly respected lawyer, Baptist layman and a close associate of Governor Hoey. In 1938 he, along with six others, were appointed to a commission to study the need of a four year medical school in North Carolina. He did see a need, reported the need, and is highly responsible for persuading the Gray family to donate generous funds for the establishment and opening of the Bowman Gray Medical School in 1941.
