Block of buildings on Liberty, Fifth and Trade Streets demolished for the transit center, 1995. Photo shows the facade of two buildings at 106, 108-110 W. Fifth Street. The structure to the right was built around 1914 by the Gilmer Brothers for their bakery business. The structure to the left housed Lindley Photo Company from 1956-1992.

  1. Lindley Photo Co. was owned and operated by my family. You have the dates in the picture wrong. My grandfather bought the business in 1929 from Barber Printing who had operated a photo shop in the same location since 1917.
