  1. wonderful photo. i can only assume that the store
    with clothing on the awning was my grandfather’s store. i could not find rosenbacher bros., but it may be there in small print. it opened about 1885…
    my grandfather, sigmund rosenbacher, died in 1893, so my father, sandel rosenbacher, (born 1888) did not remember him…

  2. Thank you for contributing to the Digital Forsyth community. Your grandfather’s store, Rosenbacher’s Clothiers, is the one to the far right, on the corner with a white awning. The store in the center (with two awnings) is Allen & Co. Men’s Outfitters and to its left (with “Clothing” on the awning”) is Rogers & McDowell Co.
