MRI Building

Across the street from the main hub of the Medical Center is the 72,419 square foot MRI Building. Built in 1987 and accessible through a tunnel under Medical Center Boulevard, it houses the magnetic resonance imaging systems, teleconferencing facilities and other office space. It was enlarged in 1990 to house the Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Center. It also provides space for the Biomedical Engineering Department.
