Romance of Transportation Parade

The Romance of Transportation Parade took place on December 29, 1936, marked the widespread adoption of gasoline-powered vehicles over horse-drawn wagons and electric streetcars. Also, it was only the year before when commercial air service had begun in Winston-Salem at Miller Airport.
