Davis Memorial Chapel Organ

The Schlicker Organ Company of Buffalo, New York was chosen by the Atlas Supply Company in May 1955 to build an organ to be situated inside of Davis Memorial Chapel. The organ is a two-manual and pedal pipe organ built to exact specifications and cost $6075.00. The organ was installed in the chapel and open for the public to see and hear a recital that was arranged by the Winston-Salem Chapter of the American Guild of Organists in November 1956. Dedication of the entire Davis Memorial Chapel was held on March 23, 1957. The organ is located in the front of the chapel on the left hand side.
