The ground is being prepared for the beginning stages of construction of Watlington Hall in this March 1979 photograph. Watlington Hall, formerly known as the Focus Building, sits where “Old Main” (North Carolina Baptist Hospital) was originally built in 1923. Old Main was demolished on October 24, 1978.
