  1. I believe this is the home of Lee Hendrix on S. Main Street in Salem during the late 1800s/early 1900s. This house is also pictured on Digital Forsyth as the “First Henry E. Fries House on Main Street” with an alternate label “Old Hendrix Residence.” I believe that the Fries label is incorrect (see my comments on that photo). The unidentified house pictured here has the same features as the old Hendrix house: same shutters; porch railing, posts and trim; tree locations; picket fence; number of stories; adjoining single story brick building.
