  1. Margaret Anne Russell Miller (center) of 430 Roslyn Rd., wed Howard Fabing Twiggs, Esq., Wake County state legislator, Raleigh lawyer, and past president of the N.C. Trial Attorneys Assn. She wed second, Chapel Hill lawyer Barry Winston, Esq., and third, Wilmington architect Howard Reed Garris, A.I.A. As Anne Russell, PhD, she has written several books. She attended women’s college, Greensboro. Her parents were Al and Leila James Wootten Miller of 430 Roslyn Road, W-S.

  2. My brother Jim Miller died suddenly a week ago at his home in Southport. To correct his comment: my husband’s last name is spelled Garriss, and I earned BA UNC-Chapel Hill, MS Georgia State University, PhD University of Hawaii, MFA UNC-Wilmington, with 12 produced plays, 7 published books.

  3. My marshals for the deb ball were Josh Reynolds and Howard Twiggs and John Owens.
