  1. This is a picture of my Step-Grandfather, Marvin Eck. He taught himself to walk stilts as a short-cut to school. He didn’t want to walk down to the bridge to cross the creek and so he made a pair of stilts and taught himself to walk on them. He even walked in the Coronation Parade for the Queen of England while he was stationed there in the Army.
