Single Brothers' Workshop

The Single Brothers’ Workshop on Academy Street in Old Salem seen during a snowstorm. Reconstructed in 1979, the original Single Brothers’ Workshop (built in 1771 and torn down in 1921) provided space for a blacksmith’s shop, bakery, weaving room, carpenter’s and joiner’s shops, and a locksmith’s shop.
