Dr. Ronald B. Mack

Dr. Ronald B. Mack was in private practice as a pediatrician from 1957-1972 in another state. In 1973 the United States Government offered Dr. Mack and 12 other physicians a fellowship position that would teach them how to train Physician Assistant students in more innovative ways of taking examinations and histories of patients. After finishing the fellowship, Dr. Mack joined the Medical Center staff in 1975 as a pediatrician at Reynolds Health Center. Dr. Mack retired as professor of pediatrics emeritus from North Carolina Baptist Hospital in 1999 and died in December 2004.
