Sandra Priddy

Sandra Kay Dickson Priddy graduated from North Carolina Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in 1960. She began her career in 1961 as a part-time nurse at Bowman Gray School of Medicine’s Private Diagnostic Clinic. She set up the health program for Stokes County Schools and the county’s mental health department. In 1974, she became director of nursing at Stokes-Reynolds Memorial before becoming the hospital’s president in 1978. She died in 2004 at age 64.
