Earline Heath King

Sculptor Earline Heath King created the statue of Bowman Gray, Sr., the AirCare memorial and other pieces of art at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. King used to work hand-tinting black and white photographs in a studio. She took a sculpting class after age 50 and her studio experience came in handy. By 2002 and age 89, she had made over 300 busts that have been placed all over the world.
