  1. I am confused about where this is. If I stand on the corner of Chestnut and 4th and look north, I see Bailey Power Plant (Black Mountain Chocolate on the right). Was the Armour plant in the courtyard? Thank you .

  2. The building at the left was RJRTob Plant (not factory) #8, long since demolished. The building on the right was the Armour meats distribution center, still standing today on E. Fourth at Chestnut, next to the railroad tracks. Please see my recent post in the Facebook Downtown group for a clearer explanation.
