  1. The Stove in this photo is a Giant Heater, made by Glascock Stove & Mfg. Co. in Greensboro. These were made in 4 sizes, and this appears to be the largest a Number 24 model. Nice photo, as the Great, Great Grandson of the founder of Glascock foundries, I’m always looking for information on old Glascock stoves. – http://www.glascockstoves.com

  2. Spent many a dime on comic books in that store. Surreptitiously checking out the nudie magazines on the lower shelves the whole time.
