Kennedy Dining Hall

Front view of Kenedy Dining Hall, c. 1983. The Kennedy dining hall completed in 1939, was named in honor of Mayme Kennedy (the second wife of former WSSU president Francis Marion Kennedy), who served Slater Industrial Academy and State Normal School as supervisor of the laundry, and matron of the men’s dormitory.
