  1. This is my great grand father Andy Peddycord.i have this same picture from the newspaper from 1947.

  2. This is my great-great-grandfather, Andrew Jackson Peddycord. We have an original of this photograph that’s been in our family for generations.

  3. I used to hear Uncle Henry Peddycord talk about those same horses pulled the Salem garbage wagon as well.When a fire alarm came in,the horses new the way back to the station wher-ever they were.

  4. When I was assigned to the Snorkel Co.,we were quartered at #2 Station.The old kitchin was formerly the hay loft over the horse stables.Uncle Carl Peddycord fell and was almost killed by the horses hooves.They became very excited when an alarm came in.
