  1. There is a small mistake. It should be C.R. Stanley. Charles Russel Stanley was one of my uncles. My dad Jay Romulus Stanley, one of uncle Russell’s brothers, bought the station a few years later. Dad kept a lot of records while he ran the station. If you need more info. Let me know. We all lived within a half mile of this location. I’m so excited to find this photo. I have a photo of dad standing in front of the gas pump. I often rode my bike to the store in the late 1950s for an ice cream cone. I will be ordering a copy to go in my scrapbook. Thank you for preserving these photos.
