  1. My father, William A. Hunter Jr. and my uncle, John F. Hunter ran the Triangle Shell from 1945 until the early 1960’s. Clemmons first fire engine was kept in the wash bay on the left before the fire house was built.

  2. there used to be a wood stove there and whenever my grandpa visited from indiana he spent most of his time there smoking cigars and talking to the guys. this was in the early 60s
