  1. Do we know the names of any of the other people in the photograph ? Dr. Bahnson was my Great Grandfather.

  2. The woman standing beyond the pond is almost certainly Emma Fries Bahnson, Henry’s wife. I suspect that she had at least as much to do with developing the lily pond as her husband did, but in those days, only men got the credit. The children are certainly the children of Henry and Emma. The girls at the foot of the stairs are almost certainly students at the Salem Female Academy.
