  1. My husband proposed to me at Idols Dam. I would really like to have a copy of this print.

  2. I nearly drowned just below Idols Dam in 1983. I remember there is a short wall about 10′ below the dam under water.

  3. Growing up in Clemmons, I have been to Idols Dam many time. We always called it the “Power House” and quite a few Clemmons residents worked there for Duke Power over the years.

  4. I use to walk the tracks from Advance when I was a kid and go fishing and been under the waterfall many times a lot of memories here, plus my Dad Hugh Kinyoun worked at the very near Tanglewood park…
