  1. Gorrell’s Cafe was owned and operated by my father and mother Jock and Lois Carter. I was so delightfully surprised to see the picture. During the 1940s and 50s this area was so busy. My sister and I spent many happy times enjoying the downtown and eating many delicious meals at dad’s cafe. I would love a copy of this picture if possible. The gentleman stuck in the snow resembles my dad. I would like a closer look at the photograph. To see my parents cafe broyght back wonderful memories.
