'Old Organ. Home Church'

Copy of a c. 1870 stereoscopic photograph showing the Tannenberg organ in Home Moravian Church, Salem. Built by master organ builder David Tannenberg of Lititz, Pennsylvania, the Home Moravian Church organ is one the largest instruments that Tannenberg built and is significant in the history of organ building in America. The organ was completed in 1800 and was played for the dedication of Home Moravian Church that same year. Removed from the church in 1910, the organ was restored and installed in the Old Salem Museums & Gardens Visitor Center.
